Despatch Hand – Day Shift

We are currently seeking to appoint a Despatch Hand to our Day shift operations.

The primary responsibility of this role will be to service external customers in a professional and efficient manner and ensure quality of product being despatched.
Subsidiary functions include servicing internal customers, loading of trucks, accurate completion of required paperwork, and maintenance of stock levels within despatch / stores, forklift operation and general maintenance of the yard and despatch areas.
To be successful in this role, an individual must perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or ability required.
Minimum 2 years experience within similar role desirable;
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Demonstrated compliance and understanding of company safe operating procedures
  • Current forklift ticket
